Richard White Love, Sr.

Mr. Richard White Love, Sr., 75, of 1004 Cedar Creek Road, Kannapolis, died Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, December 30, 2004, at Rodgers Park Baptist Church. Rev. Tony Fox will officiate. Burial will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mr. Love was born September 2, 1929 in Cabarrus County. He was the son of the late Pearl A. Love and Floey Burris Love. He worked for Kerr Finishing as a supervisor in the bleaching department before his retirement. He was a member of Rodgers Park Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Jean Love, in October 1987. Mr. Love is survived by his wife Annie Torrence Love; two daughters, Doris Ann Hatley of Concord and Linda Jo Love of Raleigh; four sons, Richard Love, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, Randy Love of Concord, James Lewis Adcock of Midland and Preston Eugene Adcock of Pageland, SC; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
