Ricky Dean Severt

Ricky Dean Severt, 51, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Central Baptist Church in Kannapolis. Rev. Curtis Parker will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:45 pm, Saturday, at the church prior to the service. At other times they will be at Donald and Darlene Severt's home, 619 North Walnut Street, Kannapolis, NC 28081.

Ricky was born on May 31, 1962 in Mooresville. He was a son of Donald Dean Severt and Patricia Darlene Fritz Severt. He graduated from Northwest Cabarrus High School. Ricky served in the US Army. He was a retired CNC machinist.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by daughter, Sierra Severt of Concord; son, Dylan Scott Severt of Kannapolis; brother, Scott Severt of Kannapolis; nephew, Brandon Severt of Kannapolis; and two former spouses, Liz Severt of Concord and Julie Sassman of Kannapolis.
