Obituary

Robert Lee (Bob) Lemasters was born October 21, 1943 in New Martinsville, WV. Bob began his rest in his Saviors loving arms December 18, 2025. Bob lived and believed in God, family, and country. He was baptized into the family of God at the Church of Christ in New Brighton, PA. Bob was active duty in the military for 32 years. He began his military career in the Marines and then accepted full-time employment with the National Guard 1454th Transportation company of Concord, N.C. which led to his relocation from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. Bob was a proud veteran that served across the globe from Vietnam, Iraq, Kuwait, and Bosnia. He also supported the state of North Carolina post Hurricane in the Outer Banks.

Upon returning home from Vietnam, Bob married Eileen Lindey on August 3, 1966. Bob and Eileen celebrated 59 years of marriage together. Bob was very quick to share with others about how privileged he was to be an American citizen, about how important it was to have a close relationship with God, and how proud he was of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Bob and Eileen had three children together, Lara Lemasters Fink (Matt) of Concord, NC, Lisa Lemasters Clontz (David) of Gold Hill, NC, and Lance Robert Lemasters (Tiea) of Salisbury, NC. His greatest joy came from his grandchildren, Austin (Arianna) Fink, Concord, NC, Andrew Fink Concord, NC. and Adam Fink Morrisville, NC, Logan Clontz (Amanda) Charlotte, NC, and Victoria and Sophia Lemasters, Salisbury, NC. Bob was overjoyed to be present for the blessing of two great grandchildren, Grady and Janie Fink, Concord, NC.

Upon retirement from the military, Bob worked with great dedication around the Church of Christ in Kannapolis, NC. His retirement hobbies were feeding and watching numerous wild animals in his backyard, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, and helping anyone the Lord put in his path. Those closest to him describe him as a humble hardworking man of integrity. Bob has a sister, Eleanor Lemasters Scruggs, Mocksville, NC and a brother Dan Lemasters of Mocksville, NC. His parents, other siblings, and many fellow soldiers he served with were awaiting his arrival in heaven.

The family would like to publicly thank Dr. Nance and Dr. Macbeth of Cabarrus Family Medicine Kannapolis, NC, Dr. Paul Campbell Cardiologists from Sanger Clinic Concord, NC, and Dr. Chris Connelly Neurologists from Northeast Neurology in Concord, NC. This group of physicians truly practiced compassionate care with a patient centered focus over many years for Bob.

Memorials can be sent in his honor to the Jericho Church of Christ, 124 Davie Academy Road, Mocksville, NC 27028.

A graveside service with military honors will take place at Salisbury National Cemetery on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 2:30 pm.
