Robert Lee Crabtree, Sr.

Mr. Robert Lee Crabtree, Sr., 73, of 3035 Wendover Road, NW, Concord, NC, died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2005, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Harold Davis will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born May 17, 1931, in Carthage, NC, he was a son of the late George Calvin Crabtree and Ida Cameron Crabtree. He was formerly employed as a lab technician at Hoechst Celanese in Salisbury. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Louth Crabtree; two sons, Robert Lee Crabtree, Jr. and his wife, Becky, of Concord and Paul Kevin Crabtree and his wife, Caroline, of Atlanta, Ga.; a sister, Myrtle Rebecca Robinson and her husband, Guy, of Concord; a brother, Ernest Leon Crabtree and his wife, Gracie, of Vass; and four grandchildren, Matthew Crabtree, Nicholas Crabtree, Tyler Crabtree and Austin Crabtree.
