Robert Kirk Davis

Mr. Robert K. Davis, 90, of Pennsylvania Avenue, Kannapolis, died Thursday, July 29, 2004, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 1, 2004, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jim Bowen will officiate. Interment will follow at Chestnut Hills Cemetery in Salisbury. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born May 25, 1914, in Lexington, NC, he was a son of the late Sandy E. Davis and Maggie Kirk Davis. He retired several years ago from Cannon Mills. He was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church and was a US Army veteran of World War II. His wife, Lula Belle Miller Davis, preceded him in death on October 12, 1995. Survivors include a brother, Bruce Davis of Kannapolis; a caregiver and niece, Elaine Allen of Concord; and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be sent to Mt.
