Robert Armitage Freeman

Mr. Robert Armitage Freeman, 53, formerly of Tarpon Springs, FL, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011, at Avante at Concord after a long illness due to complications of a stroke. A memorial service will be held in the springtime. Robert was born September 7, 1958 in Charleston, WV. He attended the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, CA and had a full scholarship to San Francisco Art Institute. He leaves behind his mother, Jane Armitage of Concord and step-father, Pope Freeman of Santa Barbara, CA; siblings, Jennifer Marchese of Concord, Meg Stuart of Berlin, Germany and Davis Freeman of Brussels, Belgium. He enjoyed his nieces and nephews: Ross, Harrison, Quinlan, Kaya and Paul. A huge sports fan, he was an ardent Lakers and Dodger fan. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church.
