Robert Haeberle

Robert Haeberle, 54, of 1424 Sherwood Drive, Kannapolis, died Sunday, October 9, 2005, at his residence. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2005, at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born September 16, 1951, in North Olmsted, Ohio, Mr. Haeberle was a son of the late Norman Haeberle and Marian Sotak Haeberle. He was employed as a press-room foreman with the Wall Street Journal. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jerri Lynn Sporn Haeberle, who died December 1, 1996; and a sister, Donna Haeberle. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Haeberle of Concord; a son, Gregory Haeberle of Concord; a sister, Elaine Szakacs of Olmsted Falls, OH; three brothers, Ralph Haeberle of Johnson City, TN, Gerald Haeberle of Parma, OH and David Haeberle of Grafton Township, OH; and three grandchildren, Trey Haeberle, Tori Morrow and Jenna Haeberle.
