Robert Terry Laws

Mr. Robert Terry Laws, 57, of 1411 Longbow Drive, Kannapolis, died Friday, March 25, 2005, at NorthEast Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2005, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:15 p.m. Sunday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born October 11, 1947 in High Point, he was a son of the late Rufus Laws, Sr. and Fronie Carroll Laws. He was a graduate of Western Carolina University and was employed for many years at Consolidated Freight-ways in Charlotte. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Walker. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Ervin Laws; three sons, Jason Laws of Los Angeles, CA, Matthew Laws and Brent Laws, both of Charlotte; a step-son, Chad Ferguson of Kannapolis; a sister, Jackie Howard of Thomasville; two brothers, Bobby Ray Laws and his wife, Jerry, and Rufus Laws, Jr. and his wife, Fran, all of High Point; and several special nieces and nephews.
