Robert Carlton Wilhite

Mr. Robert Carlton Wilhite, 77, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.

A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Friday, July 29, 2016, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Sy Ponds and Rev. Jason Brown will officiate. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 11:45 am Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Wilhite was born November 30, 1938 in Elberton, GA. He was a son of the late Robert Clayton Wilhite and Della Adams Wilhite.

In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilton Wilhite, Horace Wilhite, and Wayne Wilhite.

Mr. Wilhite is survived by his wife, Paula Wilhite; daughters, Gloria Denise Moore and husband Scott of Salisbury and Tammy Selph and her late husband James of China Grove; step-daughter, Sherry Stallings; step-son, Billy Hall; sister, Ruth Morgan of China Grove; two grandchildren, Jayson Brown and wife Crystal and Chris Hancock and wife Jessica; five great-grandchildren, C.J. Brown, Faith Brown, Mackayla Leija, Hailey Mackey, and Lindsy Hancock; one great-great-grandchild on the way, Kyra Mackey; four step-grandchildren, Courtney Brown, Stephen Stallings, Abby Hall, and Savannah Hall; and one step-great-grandchild, Cassidy Brown.
