Rodger Dean Burris

Mr. Rodger Dean "Dino" Burris, 50, of 720 Keever Avenue, Kannapolis, died at his residence, Saturday, August 14, 2004. Funeral services will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2004, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. L. J. Mills will officiate. Interment will follow at Mission Baptist Church Cemetery in Stanly County, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at their respective homes. Born May 22, 1954, in Cabarrus County, he was the son of Robert L. Burris of Mt. Pleasant, and the late Betty Virginia Gordon Burris. He formerly worked as a shipping and receiving clerk for Crazy Manufacturing Company. Survivors include his father, Robert L. Burris of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Tyler Dean Burris of Kannapolis; and a sister, Peggy Bradley of Kannapolis.
