Mr. Roger Dee Whitley, 60, of Morgan Road, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at CMC-NorthEast in Concord.

A memorial service is schedule for 2:30 pm Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Eastside Baptist Church. Pastor Joe Black will officiate.

Roger was born October 6, 1951 in Cabarrus County. He was a son of the late William Preston Whitley and Gaynell Fraley Whitley. He worked for K&W Cafeteria in Concord and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Salisbury.

Roger is survived by his wife, Kathy Brady Whitley; sister, Frances Carolyn Whitley of Concord; and a brother, Vernon Whitley of China Grove.
