Roland Michael Dowe

Mr. Roland Michael Dowe, 85, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Monday, March 14, 2022, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Ronnie Parrott will officiate. Interment with military honors will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury.

The family will receive friends from 11 to 11:45 am Monday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Dowe was born February 27, 1937 in Boston, MA. He was a son of the late Claude Lorraine Dowe and Josephine Davis Dowe. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War. He was a member of Christ Community Church in Huntersville. Prior to retirement, he owned and operated his own flooring installation business.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Wendy Sue Dowe; two step-children, Marie Moore and David Moore; three sisters, Jane Fennelly, Helen Sydell and Lorraine Kiley; and four brothers, Norman, George, Arthur and Danny.

Mr. Dowe is survived by his wife, Doris Arnel Dowe; four daughters, Kimberly Dowe of Franklin, MA, Lisa Parlato-Dowe of San Antonio, TX, Cindy Dowe of Iron Station and Pamela Franklin of Concord; step-daughter, Lynda Willis and husband Bob of Charlack, MO; 42 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews..
