Rolf Arndt

Mr. Rolf Arndt, 75, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015, at his residence.

A memorial service with military rites is scheduled for 4:00 pm Sunday, May 24, 2015, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Amity House at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Arndt was born June 26, 1939 in Riga, Latvia. He was a son of the late Eduard Jewsejew and Alexandra Semenov Jewsejew. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and worked as a project manager for Carpenter’s Local 157 in New York City. Rolf was also a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kannapolis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Karin Bloomfield and his brothers, Edgar and Wolfgang Jewsejew.

Mr. Arndt is survived by his wife, Jeanette Arndt; son, Edward Arndt and wife Jenny Ahlin of Charlotte; daughter, Lisa Albinus and husband David of Concord; and four grandchildren, Kimberley Albinus, Ryan Albinus, Hannah-Rose Albinus and Quinn Albinus.
