Ronald Lee Dunlap

Mr. Ronald "Ron" Lee Dunlap, 78, passed away Monday, July 3, 2023, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

A memorial service with Military Honors is scheduled for 3:00 pm Friday, July 7, 2023, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gary Sowell will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Dunlap was born February 26, 1945 in Visalia, CA. He was a son of the late Johnie Dunlap and Ruby West Dunlap. He loved to record music. Ron Collected albums, 45s, and cassette tapes. He was a supervisor from Deluxe Check Printers, and retired from being a Disc Jockey with various radio stations in California.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tisha Dunlap.

Mr. Dunlap is survived by his wife, Paula Louise Downey Dunlap; four children, Shana Dunlap of Dallas, TX, Davon Dunlap of AZ, Ronnie Elvis Dunlap of Monterey, CA, and Valentine Dunlap of Oceanside, CA; sister, Patricka Knapp of Modesto, CA; and four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Dunlap, Max Oliveira, Tyler Oliveira, and Olivia Dunlap.
