Ronald Joseph Mcbride

Ronald "Pop's" Joseph McBride, 72, of Indianapolis, IN went peacefully home to join his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Sept. 14th. Pop's was born on Dec. 1st, 1938 to Oscar Joseph McBride & Goldie Hildebrand McBride. He was pre-deceased by his parents & only brother, Daniel McBride. He was blessed to be married to the Love of his life Dorothy "Dott" McBride for 54 years. From that union, they had 4 children. Barbara (Dennis) Trujillo of San Antonio, TX; Danette (Phillip) Austin of Concord, NC; Ronnie (Kim) McBride of Indianapolis, IN & Mathew (Stacey) McBride of Denver, CO. He loved spending time with his wife, children, 10 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren. Pop's was retired from the Air Force & was a Patriotic Man who was forever proud to be an American. Services will be held Saturday Sept. 17th at Lady's Funeral Home 268 N. Cannon Blvd. Kannapolis, NC 28083. Visitation will be from 5-6 pm with the service immediately following in the chapel. There will not be a burial or funeral service. Per his request, the family plans to meet next summer & scatter his ashes in the Mountains of Colorado. The family wishes to thank all of the wonderful Doctors & nurses at CMC Northeast & the Angels who cared for him in his final days at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
