Ronnie Eugene Prevette

Mr. Ronnie Eugene Prevette, 69, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at his residence.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Neal Jones will officiate. Interment is scheduled for 10:00 am Monday, November 14, 2016 at Salisbury National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Prevette was born September 19, 1947 in Cabarrus County, NC. He was the son of Elnora Plyler Prevette and the late Vance V. Prevette. He retired from the U.S. Navy having served for 20 years, after which he was employed at Phillip Morris until he retired.

Mr. Prevette, in addition to his mother, is survived by his wife, Brenda Prevette; daughter, Wendy Johnson and husband Tom of Rockwell; son, Vance “Eddie” Prevette and Felicia Buckles of Rockwell; and six grandchildren, Nicki Hamrick, Stephen Hamrick, Bailey Johnson, Emily Hall, Xander Buckles, and Logan Buckles.
