As a believer in Christ, Rosalie Smith Keever used her love of singing to praise God throughout her life. She along with her husband Ed, also loved to travel with Christian Tours. Rosalie's sweet spirit and cheerfulness blessed everyone she met. A month after a hip fracture, she went peacefully to heaven early on September 9th. The third oldest of eight siblings, Rosalie survived them all. She leaves behind her husband of sixty-six years, Ed; and their son Wade and daughter-in-law, Judy. Also left are her grandchildren, Kym, Kelly and her husband, Rex McClure and Kevin and his wife Lois. God allowed Rosalie to know her great-grandchildren, Daniel and Matthew McClure and Kylei, Katie and Chip Keever. Rosalie's eternal life will be celebrated on Thursday, September 14, 2006 at Royal Oaks United Methodist Church with visitation at 10:30 and service at 11:30 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Carolina Memorial Park.
