Roy Daniels, Jr.

Roy Daniels, Jr., 36, of Landis, died Friday, June 25, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2010 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jeff Simpson will officiate. Interment will be at 3 p.m. at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road Charlotte. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home of his mother, Becky Plummer, 604 East 12th Street, Kannapolis. Born November 15, 1973 in Mecklenburg County, he was the son of Becky Sharpe Plummer of Kannapolis and Roy Daniels, Sr. of McHenry, IL. Roy was a painting sub-contractor. Survivors in addition to his parents include three children, Joey Marshall Daniels, Roy Daniels III and Angel Ann Daniels; a sister, Tracy Franklin and husband, Robert, of China Grove; and a brother, Travis Daniels of Charlotte.
