Ruby Jean Jackson Horne

Mrs. Ruby Jean Jackson Horne, 58, of 610 Atlantic Court, Kannapolis, died Friday, December 15, 2006, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Elizabeth Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Croghan, SC. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 pm Monday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Horne was born June 21, 1948, in Chesterfield County, SC. She was a daughter of Lonnie B. Jackson of Mt. Croghan, SC and the late Lucy Irene Jackson. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilton Clifton Horne; three sisters, Sylvia Burris, Debbie Sutherland and Ellen Jackson; a brother, Richard Jackson; and a grandson, Zachary Clifton Horne. In addition to her father, she is survived by a son, Richard Horne and wife, Heather, of Kannapolis; two daughters, Donna Jackson of Kannapolis and Lee Ann Ward and husband, Sean, of Ocean Isle Beach; two sisters, Margaret Davis of Rockwell and Ellie Birch of Mt. Croghan, SC; six brothers, Harry Jackson, Harold Jackson, Ray Jackson, Michael Jackson, Bud Jackson, all of Kannapolis, and Sam Jackson of Pageland, SC; six grandchildren, Samantha, Christian, Megan, Jacob, Joshua and Colby; and a great-grandchild, Ryan.
