Ruby Baker Lynch, Rn

Mrs. Ruby Baker Lynch, RN, 76, a resident of Five Oaks Nursing Center, and formerly of Woodbrook Avenue in Concord, died Wednesday, May 8, 2002, at Five Oaks Nursing Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Joel Lentz will officiate. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in West Jefferson, NC. Born February 2, 1926, in Goodwill, WV, she was a daughter of the late Linny McKinley Baker and the late Bertha Phillips Baker. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Lynch was a register nurse at Britthaven Nursing Home in Charlotte. She was a member of Faith Covenant Church and was a volunteer at NorthEast Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, McKinley Rickey Lynch, who died June 2, 1983. Survivors include two sisters, Lois Wetter and Eunice Bradshaw, both of Kannapolis; and two brothers, Herbert Baker of Kannapolis and Linny M. Baker of Concord.
