Mrs. Sallie Faye Dull Reavis, 87, a resident of Morningside Assisted Living Center, Concord, and formerly of South Walnut Street, Kannapolis, died Saturday, September 2, 2006. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Larry Allen and the Rev. Rich Szekely will officiate. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Lady's Funeral Home from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Mrs. Reavis was born on December 20, 1918 in Davie County, a daughter of the late Walter B. Dull and Hattie Dixon Dull. She was a graduate of Farmington High School, retired from Cannon Mills plant one, and was a longtime member of West Point Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Samuel Clarence Reavis, who died on March 23, 2006; three brothers and one sister. Survivors include two sons, Gary B. Reavis and wife Barbara, Mike Reavis and wife Linda, both of Kannapolis; two grandchildren, Lynn R. Clark and husband Kevin of Kannapolis, and Grayson Isenberg of Aliso Viejo, Calif.; two great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Aaron Clark; one sister, Frances D. Reavis of Kannapolis; and a brother, Lawrence Dull of Advance. Special thanks to the staff of Morningside Assisted Living Center and Hospice of Cabarrus County for their love and care given to Sallie and the support they have given her family.
