Sandra "Sandy" Julie Feibelman-Coppola

Mrs. Sandra Julie Feibelman-Coppola, 71, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Duke University Hospital in Durham.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, December 29, 2025, at Lady’sFuneral Home Chapel. Rabbi Jacquie Marx will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:45 pm Monday at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Sandra was born November 5, 1954 in Danville, VA. She was a daughter of the late Frederick Sigfried Feibelman and Alice Senta Rothschild Feibelman. She worked as a Paralegal at several legal practices in Concord - including Legal Services of the Southern Piedmont, Esten Goldsmith Esq and Amy S. Davis Esq. Sandy loved both people and animals- she always made a space at the table for those with nowhere else on Thanksgiving, and firmly believed in giving a good home to shelter animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Feibelman; and her chimpanzee, Susie.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Robert Anthony Coppola; daughter, Laura Sophie Coppola, as well as Gonzo (dog), Ernie (cat), and Daisy Mae (cat) of Concord; son, Christopher Joeseph Coppola of Silver Spring, MD; and a brother, Michael Feibelman of Richmond, VA.
