Sharon Lee Hansell Bloom

Mrs. Sharon "Sherry" Lee Hansell Bloom, 71, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Carolina Memorial Park. Rev. Robin Kirchner will officiate. Interment will follow.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm Tuesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Sherry was born November 20, 1946 in Allegany County, MD. She was a daughter of the late Paul Hansell and Mary Louise Wakefield Hansell.

Sherry is survived by two sons, Vernon E. Kesner, II and wife Ashley of Cornelius and Monte Palmer of Frostburg, MD; two daughters, Angel Taylor of Kannapolis and Sheri Smith of Martinsburg, WV; sister, Bonnie Locke of Cumberland, MD; eight grandchildren, Taylor Paige Robinson, Justus Curry, Xavior Kesner, Eden Kesner, Alexia Kesner, Gabrielle Butler and Dominick Smith; and a great granddaughter, Karsyn Butler.
