Sharon Pless Russell

Sharon Elizabeth Pless Russell, 57, of 4150 Moose Road, died Monday, September 8, 2008, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, September 11, 2008, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Landis, NC. The Rev. Jarrod Lanning will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home of her sister, Patty Williams, 1073 Lauren Oaks Drive, China Grove, NC. Sharon was born March 26, 1951 in Salisbury, NC. She was the daughter of Nancy Brown Pless of Gastonia and the late Jerry B. Pless. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Landis. A graduate of South Rowan High School, she also attended East Carolina University and was a member of the North Carolina Angus Association. In addition to her mother, Sharon is survived by her husband Zeb V. Russell, Jr.; a daughter, Lisa Bracewell and husband Tim of China Grove; a son, Alex Query and wife Kari, of Kannapolis; her sister, Patty P. Williams and husband, John of China Grove; five grandchildren, Austin, Ashlee and Avery Bracewell of China Grove, and Aaron and Austin Query of Kannapolis.
