Sherbie Jean Wingo Woodall

Mrs. Sherbie Jean Wingo Woodall, 85, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Compass Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Spencer.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens in Concord.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 pm Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Woodall was born January 20, 1938 in Hogansville, GA. She was a daughter of the late Carl Wingo and Mary Wilson Wingo.

She was preceded in death by husband, Rev. Gene Hart Woodall; brother, Carl Wingo Jr.; and three sisters, Gladys Cook, Dorothy Davis, and Peggy Gilpin.

Mrs. Woodall is survived by two sons, Shannon Woodall and wife June of Welcome, and Stephen Woodall and wife Amy of Walkertown; two daughters, Crystal Cook and husband Eric of China Grove, and Jade Page and husband Brandon of Mount Pleasant; eight grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

She spent her life as a devoted pastor's wife. She was a faithful church member & enjoyed serving in various church ministries throughout her years. She was truly a friend to all she met, and took to heart Proverbs 18:24a: "A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly."
