Shirley Iowaka Heater Gibson

Mrs. Shirley Iowaka Heater Gibson, 65, died Tuesday, December 3, 2002, at 1230 Forest Park Drive where she made her home with her daughter after two years of declining health and two weeks of serious illness. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Gibson was born December 27, 1936 in Buckhannon, WV. She was a daughter of the late Luther Heater and Frances Daff Heater. Mrs. Gibson is survived by her daughter, Julie Gibson of Kannapolis; four sons, David, Steven and John Gibson, all of Kannapolis, and Jamie Gibson of Alto, GA; sister, Cleo Wingfield of Buckhannon, WV; brother, Jack Heater of Youngstown, OH; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
