Shirley Ruth Lackey

Mrs. Shirley Ruth Campbell Lackey, 63, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Tucker Hospice House.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Roper will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 pm Tuesday prior to the service at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lackey was born on April 8, 1952 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Walter Campbell and Jessie Daniels Campbell. She worked as a CNA in a hospital. She enjoyed cross-stitch, music and cats.

Mrs. Lackey is survived by her husband, Dennis Lackey; daughter, Elizabeth Lackey; and two brothers, James Walter “J.W.” Campbell and Jerry Claude Campbell.
