Mr. Somphone Kiet Khantignavong, 36, of Rice Street, Kannapolis, died Thursday, September 10, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Inthava Intisane will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born December 3, 1972 in Laos, he was the son of Thongvanh Khantignavong and Kenchanh Khantignavong. Survivors include his parents, Thongvanh Khantignavong and Kenchanh Khantignavong; and a sister, Khonvilay Noy Khantignavong.
