Mr. Somyong Xaiyabatha, 39, passed away Friday, October 30, 2026, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday, November 6, 2026, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel.

Somyong was born June 5, 1987 in Ubon, Thailand. He was a son of Kete Xaiyabatha and Nouan Vannasouk Xaiyabatha. He worked in Customer Service for a majority of his life but most recently as a Restaurant Manager.

In addition to his parents, Somyong is survived by his son, Blake Xaiyabatha; sister, Hansa Xaiyabatha; two brothers, Palinya Aie Xaiyabatha and Khounpan Baibua.
