Sondra Lee Billerman

Sondra Lee Harvey Billerman, 66, of April Lane, Albemarle, and formerly of Indianapolis, Ind. and Kannapolis, NC, died Saturday, February 14, 2009, at Tucker Hospice House. A candlelight service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2009 at West Point Baptist Church in Kannapolis. The Rev. Blair Bridle and the Rev. Luis Ferrer will officiate. A reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the church. Born September 5, 1942 in Louisville, KY, she was a daughter of the late E. Lyle Harvey and Mildred Clink Harvey. Sondra was a realtor for many years, and later worked for Onstar in Charlotte. She was a member of West Point Baptist Church in Kannapolis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sydney Stapleton. Survivors include a daughter, Christy Stapleton and husband Shannon of Kannapolis; a son, Jeffery Billerman and wife, Lee Ann, of Albemarle; sister, Michelle Harvey Collins and husband, Greg, of Charlotte; and five grandchildren, Makayla Stapleton, Elijah Stapleton, Riley Stapleton, Wyatt Stapleton, and Reagan Stapleton.
