Steve Brian Wilson

Steve Brian Wilson, 34, of 443 Patterson Farm Road, Mooresville, died Monday, November 27, 2006. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Herman Absher will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2006, at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the residence. Born January 5, 1972, in Cabarrus County, he was the son of Steve Wilson and Shirley Ruth Gray Wilson. A 1990 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, he was also a graduate of the North American Institute of Aviation in Conway, SC. He was employed as a mechanic for the North Carolina Department of Transportation. Brian was a member of The Cove Church in Mooresville and served with his wife, Leigh, on the South Iredell Volunteer Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Hoyle "Bud" Gray. Survivors include his wife, Leigh Wilkinson Wilson; daughter, Ainsley Wilson of the home; mother, Shirley Ruth Gray Wilson of Fort Mill, SC; sister, Shelley Bewley of Concord; and grandmother, Mildred Boger Gray Glamm of Lake Wales, FL.
