Steven Edwin Joyner

Steven “Steve” Edwin Joyner, 58, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 pm Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Lady’s Funeral Home.

Steve was born on October 25, 1955, in Bennettsville, SC. He was a son of the late Stamie Carroll Joyner and Mary Frances Garner Joyner. He worked as a security guard. Steve enjoyed fishing and going to the beach with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Joyner.

Steve is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann Shoe Joyner; two daughters, Nicole Joyner of Salisbury and Cassie Rice of Kannapolis; sister, Deloris Tyner of China Grove; two brothers, Junior Joyner and Johnny Joyner, both of China Grove; and two granddaughters, Caitlin and Cheyenne Browning.
