Susann Victoria Witke

Mrs. Susann “Sue” Victoria Wolf Witke, 68, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at her home.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, April 1, 2016, at All Saints' Episcopal Church. The Reverend Tricia de Beer will officiate. The family will receive following the service in the Welcome Center of the church.

Mrs. Witke was born May 5, 1947 in Chicago, IL. She was a daughter of late Lester Richard Wolf and Esther Gladys Beckman Wolf. Sue was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed crafts, such as crocheting, needlepoint and sewing. Sue was very proud of her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Wolf.

Sue is survived by her husband, Leonard “Len” Ralph Witke; two sons, Christopher Jacob Witke and wife Michelle of Hickory and David Matthew Witke and fiancée Carly of Milton, WI; three sisters, Lynette Wolf-Bernat of Kingsport, TN, Judith Ann Wolf-Bugayong and husband Gene of Mt. Carmel, TN and Leslie Mansfield of Aurora, IL; and five grandchildren, Jacob, Kaitee, Lauren, Sophia and Brynn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
