Sylvia Carter Billings

Mrs. Sylvia Carter Billings, 62, of 1601 Moose Road, Kannapolis, died Saturday, March 10, 2007, at NorthEast Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2007, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Leon Hawks will officiate. Interment will follow at West Concord Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2007, at Lady's Funeral Home. Born August 14, 1944, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of Ruth Overcash of Kannapolis and the late John Carter. Survivors in addition to her mother, include her husband, Bobby Billings of the home; a daughter, Lisa Simpson and husband, Roger, of Monroe; one son, Michael Love of Kannapolis; a sister, Brenda Ross and husband, Bobby, of Kannapolis; and four grandchildren.
