Sylvia Diane Rollins

Miss Sylvia Diane Rollins, 56, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Fred Freeman and Mr. Joey Clark will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm Friday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Miss Rollins was born July 14, 1960 in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of the late Clarence Boyd Rollins and Mae “Frankie” Howell Rollins. She was a 1979 graduate of Central Cabarrus High School. She worked for NGK Ceramics in Mooresville as an inspector. She was a member of East Bethel Baptist Church in Concord and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Franklin Rollins.

Miss Rollins is survived by her sister, Barbara Kimsey and husband Chris of Midland; brother, Larry Rollins of Concord; and three nephews, Jason Rollins and wife Tracy, Joshua Rollins and wife Brandy and Matthew Kimsey and wife Karinna.
