Talmadge Junior Walls

Mr. Talmadge "Junior" Walls, 63, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019, at CHS-NorthEast in Concord.

A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 pm Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mary Hatley will officiate. Interment with military rites will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 to 11:45 am Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home.

Mr. Walls was born February 11, 1956 in Concord. He was a son of the late Clarence Monroe Walls, Jr. and Frances Elizabeth Tucker Walls. He retired from the Water and Sewer Department for the City of Kannapolis. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Rusty Wade Walls and Paul Eugene Walls.

Mr. Walls is survived by his wife, Bettina Clark Walls; four sons, Christopher Walls of Mt. Pleasant, Shawn Walls of Kannapolis, Keith Walls of Georgia and Kelly Walls of Columbus, OH; sister, Tamara Sheets of Madison, WV; brother, Richard Walls of Kannapolis; and seven grandchildren.
