Tamra Sue Robbins Measimer

Mrs. Tamra Sue Robbins Measimer, 53, of Poplar Tent Road, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, April 25, 2011, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Larry Holleman will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2:00 pm Monday at Lady's Funeral Home. Mrs. Measimer was born August 3, 1957 in Rutherford County. She was a daughter of Ruth Bradley Davis and the late Tommy Gene Robbins. She worked for the Cabarrus County Schools Headstart Program and in food service. Mrs. Measimer, in addition to her mother, is survived by her husband, Gary Lee Measimer; two daughters, Angela Nielsen of SC and Gina Haynes of Ellenboro; two sons, Daniel Measimer and Bryan Measimer both of Concord; two sisters, Teresa Owens of Forest City and Tonya Robbins-Balduf of Ellenboro; one brother, Tommy Gene Robbins, Jr. of TN and six grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be made to Lady's Funeral Home, 268 North Cannon Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083 to aid with funeral costs.
