Terry Lee Bass

Terry Lee Bass, 43, of 1508 West A Street, Kannapolis, died Monday, December 31, 2007, at his home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2008, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Darrell Furr and the Rev. Jack Kivett will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in China Grove. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home of his parents, David and Katie Bass, 300 S. East Avenue, Kannapolis. Born July 8, 1964 in Cabarrus County, he was the son of David Lee Bass and Katie Burr Bass. He was employed for many years at Kimbrell's Home Furnishings. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Wayne Bass. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Wilson Bass of the home; parents, David Lee Bass and Katie Burr Bass of Kannapolis; three stepchildren, Tiffany Christy, David Christy, Jr. and Clinton Christy, all of the home; grandmother, Margie Watts of Columbia, SC; two brothers, Larry Bass of Kannapolis and Barry Bass of Martinsburg, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
