Mr. Terry Ray McCreary, 84, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026, at The Greens at Cabarrus in Concord.

A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at North Kannapolis United Methodist Church. Rev. Noah Glover will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 12:45 pm Tuesday at North Kannapolis United Methodist Church.

Terry was born March 10, 1942 in Concord. He was a son of the late Ray Franklin McCreary and Annie Mae Faggart McCreary. He was an active member of North Kannapolis United Methodist Church. Terry owned and operated Guns T.R. McCreary in China Grove. He had a passion for collecting old cars and trucks, with a special fondness for his Shelby Cobra. He also deeply enjoyed farming.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred "Mitt" Ann Mitchell McCreary.

Terry is survived by his sister, Modena Weaver and husband Jimmie of Kannapolis; and his brother, Gene McCreary of China Grove.
