Terry Eugene Medlin

Mr. Terry Eugene Medlin, Sr., 58, passed away Monday, November 3, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center-Main.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, November 6, 2014, at the Universal House of Prayer of Concord. Rev. Terry Medlin, Jr., his son, will officiate.

Terry was born on November 24, 1955 in Cabarrus County a son of Mable Virginia Sutton Medlin and the late Harold James Medlin. He was a truck driver for former Terminal Trucking. Terry was a lifelong member of the Universal House of Prayer. He was an outdoorsman especially enjoying to hunt and fish. Terry was also on a bowling team at Fox Fire Lanes. He loved and adored his family.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Kay Coley; son, Harold James Medlin; and two brothers, Donald and Randy Medlin.

Terry is survived by his wife, Doris Jean Gainey Medlin; two daughters, Gina Hagan and Keith Fink of Mooresville and Mary Horne of Concord; son, Rev. Terry Medlin, Jr. and wife, Christy, of Concord; sister, Betty Sue Love of Finger; two brothers, Wayne Medlin of Albemarle and Michael Medlin of Winston-Salem; and twenty-three grandchildren.
