Thomas Lee Harris

Mr. Thomas Lee Harris, 71, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Carolina Medical Center-NorthEast.

Mr. Harris was born on October 20, 1941 in South Dakota. He was a son of the late Cecil Levert Harris and Anna Lucy Huch Harris. Mr. Harris was a veteran of the US Navy. He worked as a finish blade operator in commercial construction and was an avid woodworker. Mr. Harris had twenty-eight years of sobriety thanks to the program of AA begun by Bill W.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three children, Genevieve Jean Harris, Marty Allen Harris, and Tracy Lee Harris; one sister; and three brothers.

Mr. Harris is survived by his wife, Barbara Overcash Harris; two children, Christy A. Harris and Dana C. Pittman; two sisters, Betty Strader of KY and Rosemary Reddick of SD; three grandchildren, Conyous, David and Micheal; and eight great-grandchildren
