Thressa Parham Collins

Mrs. Thressa Parham Collins, 93, a resident of Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation in Concord, died Tuesday, September 10, 2002, at NorthEast Medical Center. A graveside service with interment to follow will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 12, 2002, at Carolina Memorial Park. The Rev. Leon Hawks will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 PM Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born June 30, 1909 in Madison County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Oscar H. Parham and the late Emma Threlkeld Parham. She retired several years ago from the Sheet Department of Cannon Mills. Survivors include one son, Doyle Collins of Kannapolis; one sister, Thelma Hall of Salisbury; and two grandchildren, Richard Mark Collins and Eric Dean Collins.
