Tommy Gene Basinger

Mr. Tommy Gene Basinger, 34, of 237 Broad Street, Lexington, died Sunday, March 1, 2009. A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 pm Friday in Lady's Funeral Home Chapel, Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 1 to 4:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service. Mr. Basinger was born in Rowan County on September 4, 1974. Survivors include his mother, Mary Cook Basinger of Lexington; one brother, Daniel Basinger of Lexington; four sisters, Lecia Dennis and husband Donald, Gay Dennis and husband David, all of China Grove, Ellen Regan and husband, Barry of Salisbury and Dixie Basinger of Lexington; his fianc e Lynn Tirrell of Lexington; a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
