Tony Curtis Poe, 53, of 212 Oakdale Avenue, Kannapolis, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Duke University Hospital in Durham. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Glenn Myers will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday at Lady's Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the residence. Born November 21, 1956 in Cabarrus County, he was the son of the late Curtis C. Poe and Zanie White Poe. He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Concord. Tony was employed as a truck driver with Chambers Transportation in Charlotte. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Arnold Eugene Poe. Survivors include his wife, Donna Bradshaw Poe; a son, Steve Poe and wife, Karly, of Charlotte; and two brothers, Phillip Poe of Old Fort and Carl Lee Poe of Kannapolis.
