Trudi Anne Babcock

Mrs. Trudi Anne Goins Herrin Babcock, 51, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012, at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. James Strickland will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 pm, Thursday, at Lady's Funeral Home prior to the service.

Mrs. Babcock was born on July 9, 1961 in DeQuincy, LA. She was a daughter of the late Forrest Allen Goins and Katherine Land Goins. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Chuch in Concord. Trudi enjoyed painting, her garden and loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. She also liked to sing.

Mrs. Babcock is survived by her husband, Richard Babcock; six children, Erica Herrin of China Grove, Mandy Wagoner, Brandy and Crystal DeVany, all of Kannapolis; Ricky and Nickoliz DeVany of CA; four sisters, Debra Cole, Teresa Walker, Darlene Reynolds and Pam Phillips, all of LA; two brothers, Bradley and Wesley Perkins of LA; five grandchildren Alyssa Wagoner, Chassity Brindle, Jason Brindle, Kali Brindle and Coby Stamper.
