What a jewel Ms. Velma was, her worth was far beyond rubies (Proverbs 31). When I think of her, I see beautiful flowers, smell delicious food, and hear her unique laughter. I grieve with you on your loss, but truly celebrate her homegoing. My thoughts are with you all-

Kids....my heart both weeps and rejoices...It goes without saying....she was my heart Mother, Friend and Mentor...I told the Pastor and His Wife of the Smithfield Church of God two weeks ago about her and that she and her great talent would never die as long as I live....as I did a beautiful wedding at the Church and they had never seen some of the stuff that Velma had taught me...How can I ever tell you how much I have loved the Dancy family all of my life..........and as a nurse who has worked for years with dementia patients, how crushed I was when there was no spark from Velma when I saw her....I grieved then...but rejoice now as she is now whole and I know with Glenn and Bev...God Bless each of you and may he hold you in his arms and ease the emptiness....Love, Ricki, Rebecca and Wayne and Noah and Daniel
