Vincent Joseph Ross

Mr. Vincent Joseph Ross, 72, of Salisbury, NC, died Sunday, April 14, 2002, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. A prayer service is scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Father James Geiger will officiate. Burial will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 PM Tuesday with a Rosary Service to follow at 8:00 PM at Lady's Funeral Home. Mr. Ross was born March 18, 1930 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was a son of the late James Nicholas Ross and Gertrude Hempe Ross. He was a retired Fire Safety Technician with IBM in Charlotte, NC. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Korea. Mr. Ross is survived by his wife of fifty years, Jeanette Ollivett Ross; son, John Ross of Cornwall on Hudson, NY; three daughters, Kathy Kuhn of Dillsburg, PA, Eileen Smith of Fayetteville, NC, Cynthia Bowen of Salisbury, NC; and four grandchildren, Haley Kuhn, Erik Kuhn, Ian Ross, and Larissa Ross.
