Viola Mae Cline

Viola Mae Montieth Cline, 90, a resident of Transitional Health Services of Kannapolis and formerly of Davidson Highway, Concord, died Thursday, May 18, 2006, at the nursing facility. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2006, at Parkwood Baptist Church. The Rev. Darrell Coble will officiate. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. Friday at Parkwood Baptist Church. Born May 17, 1916, in Huntersville, she was the daughter of the late John Gaston Montieth and Cora Elizabeth Boger Montieth. She was a homemaker and formerly worked at Cannon Mills. She was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church. Her husband, Harvey Alexander Cline, preceded her in death on December 4, 2001. Survivors include a daughter, Lea Hullender and husband, James, of Lake Lure; a son, David Cline and wife, Judy, of Raleigh; two sisters, Gladys Kimmer and Odessa Steele, both of Salisbury; four grandchildren, Brian Hullender of Atlanta, Ga.,, Lisa Cline Ayers of New York, NY, Tina Hullender Yannone of Concord and Jeff Cline of Charlotte; and two great-grandchildren, Victoria and Andrew.
