Viola Ketner Troutman

Mrs. Viola "Polly" Ketner Troutman, 92, of 6401 Irish Potato Road, Rockwell, died Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at the Brian Center of Salisbury. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2005, at Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church. The Rev. Marion Fulk will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lady's Funeral Home. Born May 15, 1913, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Bruner Brown Ketner and Lela Mae Funderburke Ketner. She was retired from China Grove Textiles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Clinton Troutman, who died November 5, 1993; a daughter, Allene Leonard; and a brother, Brown Ketner. Survivors include a daughter, Connie Park of China Grove; a step-daughter, Judy Goodman of Concord; a step-son, Bud Troutman of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
