Virgil Alexander Crews

Mr. Virgil Alexander Crews, 47, of Therrell Road, passed away, Friday, August 2, 2013, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.

A memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at Lady’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. George Bradshaw will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service.

Virgil was born March 14, 1966 in Houston, TX. He was the son of the late Betty Lisenby. He worked for Dixieland Roofing Company and loved his job as a roofer. He also enjoyed helping others when needed.

Virgil is survived by his wife, Kay Messer Crews; step-son, Bobby Britt of Kannapolis; five children; three sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be sent to Lady’s Funeral Home & Crematory, 268 N. Cannon Blvd., Kannapolis, NC 28083 to assist the family with expenses.
